So, after having focused on several other types of photography, I'm venturing into the portraiture arena a bit.
I've been posting some of the shots I've done and, thus far, I'm relatively pleased with the results. The models, all of whom are good friends of mine, have been great in putting up with me. Now it's just a matter of me doing a better job of planning shoots. For whatever reason, it is very difficult to find a compelling scene or natural backdrop in the Sacramento, CA area.
I'm hoping soon that I'll have a couple of 300w/m studio lights, as right now all I have it my off-camera flash unit and some light modifiers. Wish me luck!
Oh, and if you have any comments or critiques on my new portrait shots, I'd be happy to hear them. I'm always striving to better my work, even if it is really in it's preliminary stages at this point.
